Elevating Agri-Tourism With Impactful Play Areas
Timberplay Scotland takes pride in crafting sustainable, durable, high-quality play areas that integrate naturally with rural landscapes offering children of all ages unique and developmental play experiences.
Our commitment to excellence has been showcased in various projects across Scotland, particularly in collaborating with leisure attractions to enhance the overall agri-tourism experience.
By integrating exciting and engaging playgrounds into leisure attractions, we’ve observed a substantial increase in the attendance of families with children and the duration of their visits.
Notable projects from recent years include Helix Park, Glasgow Science Centre, Dumfries House and Craigies Farm.
Boasting over 20,000 square feet of both indoor and outdoor play areas, Craigies Farm presented Timberplay Scotland with a thrilling opportunity to pioneer our first-ever indoor playground.
This play area was designed with a subtle agriculture theme paying homage to the heritage of the venue whilst also prioritising the maximisation of play value for children.
The carefully curated equipment includes climbing frames, rope bridges, slides, sensory play elements, and water play, creating a dynamic and immersive play environment.
As we reflect on our past projects, Timberplay Scotland are excited to engage in more Agri-Tourism projects in the future. We look forward to being a part of the Scottish Agri-Tourism Hub where members share our commitment to creating lively and impactful agriculture-based attractions and enabling the harmonisation of popular tourist venues with rural landscapes.
