Communications Expert
Claire is a specialist in communications within agriculture, food and the rural environment, with almost a decade of experience working in TV production, journalism, and PR. A regular columnist and commentator on TV, radio and in print, sharing expertise on the main issues which shape rural Scotland. As a Nuffield Farming Scholar, Claire has been exploring the relationship between farmers and key stakeholders involved in policy making all over the world, which has deepened her knowledge and understanding of farming and policy systems globally.
Throughout her media career she has built strong relationships within the farming community and has become a passionate advocate for the industry, regularly championing the valuable contribution agri-businesses make to the wider Scottish economy.
Claire has experience in delivering training workshops covering media engagement, communications and delivering presentations. She is an experienced host and panel chair for major conferences. Claire has covered news and politics across Scotland’s agricultural sector.
