Fiona Smith is a farmer from Laurencekirk in Aberdeenshire and farms in partnership with her father David growing cereals and fresh vegetables.
Westerton Farmers is one of Scotland’s four Agritourism Monitor Farms.
The business has offered a farm retail offering since 2017 with an honesty “Spud Hut” and now fully staffed farm shop, Farm to Table. This agritourism venture undertakes a number seasonal events and is using support through the monitor farm programme to explore new opportunities including a cookery school and venue for regular pop up restaurant experiences.
