David is farmer at Cloag Farm, growing malting barley and milling oats on 200acres with a further 700acre let out.
David’s agritourism enterprise is Cloag Farm Cottages; 3 Farm Cottages, each sleeping 4, now in their 33rd year as self-catering accommodation.
David was involved at senior level in helping to shape Scottish Tourism, including very early work on agritourism. He chaired ASSC for 18 years, which was a founder member of Scottish Tourism Forum, now STA. David chaired the Perthshire Tourism Partnership, joining up Tourism leaders and the Agencies in Perth and Kinross and is currently a member of the Perth and Kinross Wellbeing Recovery group and the Tay Cities Tourism Group.
