Argyll & Isles

Farm: Fiona has lived and worked on Glenorchy Farm, near Tyndrum, since 2012. Glenorchy Farm is a small mixed farm within a remote Glen.

Agritourism: In 2022, two beautiful cabins were added to the farm

Fiona and her husband Tristan are always looking at ways of making the farm a sustainable business. They have built a small hydro scheme, created native woodland areas and are interested in breeding native breed livestock that are hardy and grow slowly to produce delicious meat. They love their Oxford Sandy and Black Pigs, Swaledale sheep and Native Black Bees and being able to provide fresh produce to the local community and their cabin guests.   Their aim is to move towards regenerative farming and they are always looking for ways to increase the biodiversity around the farm. When not working on the farm Fiona is an Ecological Consultant traveling around Scotland carrying out Ecological Surveys.
