Helen Smith lives and works at Byres Farm, Spey Bay, Moray with her Husband Bill and two children. Byres Farm is open to the public for prebooked groups, events and private bookings. A large proportion of the business are children’s groups so there is a safe and enclosed play area, animal feeding paddocks and plenty pedal tractors! For the grown ups the space is used for a number of workshops, meetings and a whisky tours telling the story of the barley before it reaches the distillery. Helen and Bill are passionate about educating the public about Scottish Farming and enjoy welcoming them to the farm. The farming enterprises include suckler cows, sheep, malting barley and pigs.
