Arbikie Distillery
Iain is a Farmer’s son and opened Arbikie Distillery with his brothers in November 2014 on their family farm at Lunan Bay. The Stirling family has been farming for over 400 years and being able to grow what they distil is at the heart of Arbikie.
Arbikie aims to be one of the world’s most sustainable distilleries and is on a journey that has seen them distil Nadar, the world’s first climate-positive gin, and the Arbikie Distillery will soon be powered by green hydrogen.
The family of luxury, field-to-bottle spirits from the crops and botanicals grown on Stirling farms at Lunan Bay, including Highland Rye, the world’s first Rye Scotch Whisky for 200 years. Arbikie’s customers include The Savoy, The Connaught, Aman Resorts, Four Seasons, Dorchester Collection, Jean-Georges Restaurants, Whole Foods, Harrods and The Fat Duck.
Prior to setting up Arbikie, Iain worked with Whyte & Mackay, Jim Beam Brands , Volkswagen Group, Marks & Spencer and Diageo. Iain is on the Board of the Scotland Food & Drink, the Scottish North American Business Council and is a GlobalScot.
