Katrina is a local farmer’s daughter with a long family history of farming the Tweed Valley. She has been Proprietor & Hospitality Veteran (along with husband William) of the Allanton Inn since 2010; an award winning seven bedroom country inn in rural Berwickshire, Scottish Borders, and Katrina is passionate about offering the best Borders hospitality.
An average of 50 guests visit the Allanton Inn each day. Open all year round, the Allanton Inn has a busy restaurant, bar and beer garden with a pizza shack. They specialise in showcasing local produce, supporting local farmers and promoting tourism in the Borderlands.
Katrina is developing Borderlands Tours to take guests on a journey of discovery through the Eastern Scottish Borders and North Northumberland, featuring a wonderfully unique opportunity to taste, learn and explore the best of the Borderlands, including several agritourism businesses.
