Glenkilrie Larder and Cook School

Originally a nurse, I am now the driving force behind Glenkilrie Larder, which I run alongside my husband Andrew on his family farm in Highland Perthshire. With a passion for great food and a deep respect for the land, I take pride in sharing our farms story and championing the direct marketing of our venison, beef, and lamb so that customers know exactly where their food comes from.

My mission is to bridge the gap between producer and consumer, showing how well-reared farm animals can provide exceptional nutrition while also supporting wildlife and protecting the environment.

One of my greatest passions is the Glenkilrie Larder Cook School, which I founded to celebrate the provenance of our meats and the heritage of our farm. Here, I demonstrate how to cook with different cuts of venison, beef, and lamb, sharing techniques and recipes before inviting guests to enjoy each dish together.

Beyond the farm, I have been fortunate to present at the Royal Highland Show, the Scottish Game Fair, and the Turriff Show. Working in partnership with the Cairngorms National Park, we also donate wild venison to Home Economics classes, helping to inspire the next generation from Land to Larder.
