Linda Tinson is a Consultant in the Rural – Land and Business team at law firm, Lindsays, and is widely recognised as one of Scotland’s leading advisers to rural businesses, landowners and farming families. She advises clients on a broad range of matters including succession planning, business restructuring, agricultural holdings, rural property transactions, diversification projects and emerging opportunities in natural capital, renewables and agritourism.

With extensive experience working across Scotland’s rural economy, Linda is known for her practical, strategic approach and deep understanding of the opportunities and challenges facing farming and land-based businesses. Coming from a farming background herself, she brings valuable insight into the complexities of family businesses and generational transition.  A graduate of the Scottish Enterprise Rural Leadership Programme, Linda is a former Vice President of the Royal Highland and Agricultural Society of Scotland (RHASS) and has held senior leadership roles within Scotland’s rural sector. Through her role on the Scottish Agritourism Board, she contributes legal, business and strategic expertise to support the continued growth and sustainability of Scotland’s agritourism industry.
