Growing up on a farm in rural Perthshire has given me a deep-rooted connection to the land and rural life. Dunsinnan Farms, where I was raised, is now transitioning to an agritourism model—an exciting and meaningful shift for me.
In addition to this, I work at Horizons, a Destination Management Company based in Edinburgh, where I design bespoke, high-end travel experiences that highlight Scotland’s finest offerings. My role at Horizons complements my dedication to creating authentic, enriching experiences for others.
Being part of the Agritourism Futures program is a valuable opportunity to expand my knowledge of how tourism and agriculture can be integrated. By combining my agricultural background with my work at Horizons, I aim to connect more people to the authentic beauty of farm life and Scotland’s rich cultural heritage.
