Rachael Hamilton

Elected in 2017, Rachael Hamilton is the Scottish Conservative and Unionist MSP for Ettrick, Roxburgh and Berwickshire. Rachael has served as the Shadow Rural Affairs spokeperson for the Conservative Party, and has recently been appointed as Deputy Leader of the Conservative Party in Scotland.
Rachel as born in Brecon, Wales, and went on to study agriculture at Harper Adams University before working as an agronomist. In 2008 she became a director of the family-run hospitality business, based in the Borders. Around that time, Rachel started in politics as a campaign manager for John Lamont MP.
